10 WEIRD DIY LIFE HACKS YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY TRY!

1. If you don't have a phone holder when you're driving just use rubber bands. All you need is giant clip and rubber bands.

Simply put your phone in a clip and with rubber bands secure it and for more security put another one. This life hack is really useful.

2. If you don't have eraser and have some balloons, just use them like eraser. Believe me or not, they work as good as  normal erasers :) 

3. Have you ever been baking something and following the instructions on your phone, you scroll and ohmagash it's so messy, you scream and it's a disaster. All you gotta need is a plastic wrap. Just wrap your phone in it and damn you will never get any dust in your phone.

4. If you in school and have one of these:  sharpeners, you know how messy you can get with them. So this is really weird hack that will help you out. Take a balloon and wrap it at the end of your sharpener and sharp your pencils! The shavings will go in the balloon and you won't get messy :)

5. If you have so many hair elastic bands, just put them on a clip and here you go :) They will say in place and you will have much more bands than before :) 

6. If you are alone and cannot open a jar, this would waste a lot of time to open it. So without struggling just put a rubber band and open it :) It will be much more easier. 

7. Make this and you will not forget your keys anymore.

8. You can actually create your own diy paint with just mixing up these ingredients: 1/4 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of salt, 1/4 of water and any food coloring you want your paint to look. Mix it up. And i'm gonna say that this solution is much more thicker, but it works as fine as the normal paint. 

9. If you're taking a picture and realize you got all these flakes just peeking out of your nose, i have a really simple hack for you. Just get some tape, now remember that this isn't a pore remover, it's just to take away everything that's on your outside.

10.   If you're really clumsy like me here is a simple hack.  This is the weirdest phone case. Just blow up a balloon and slowly push your phone in the balloon. This will create a non flip phone case. Is that not simple? I think it is simple.

What's in my backpack?

Hello! Today I will show you what's in my backpack.

(Well I use this backpack not only for school, but when I'm going to city to) 

1.

I bought backpack from a huge store in Lithuania called "MEGA"

There are lots of shops and I chose "SPORTLAND"

This backpack is really comfortable, It's from "ONEILL" firm, but I need to buy another because I have this backpack 2 YEARS!

2.

Power bank. From "TOBUX" firm. This is the most useful thing in my backpack. I use it every time. Well you need to carry your usb with you, but that's not a problem.

3.

Huawei p8 lite phone case. I bought it from internet shop AlieExpress. I have tons of cases, but this one I like the most. 

4.

Wallet with mustache. I bought it from AliExpress, but I need a new one, because this one is old and worn. 

5.

EOS hand cream. Its smells like cucumbers, and I absolutely love it. I got it as a present from my friend Beata♥ This product is running out, but I will buy new one. Maybe pink this time :) 

6.

Anti-bacterial hand gel. This is really useful thing. When your hands are dirty, just pour some on them and you will be clean. It smells like mango, but i would like to try another one, which smells like apples. I got it as a present.

7. 

Well you think: what is this little friend over there? Well, this is the best phone accessory called a "Popsocket". You can pick whatever color you want. It's really good for making musical.lys.  Of course you can add me :) My musical.ly is: auste_kasp.

Sunglasses. Well it's not summer, but I use them every time( in summer of course).  They are black and I love them. I bought them from beauty shop in Lithuania called "EUROKOS"

HOW I TAKE AND EDIT MY PHOTOS♥

I'm going to show you, how, with what I take and edit my photos.

 

First thing first if you take your photos, the best way to take it is with NATURAL lighting, like window lighting. Of course if you have good lamp, use it. But I prefer natural light.

Here is how I normally take it:

Don't take it like this, because.. well you see:

The lighting will be messed up.

And find nice curtains,  because they are the best background.

I normally take selfies with phone. But if you have camera then it's better :)

EDIT

The edit is really important for your pictures.

I use two programmes :

• vsco 

• Photo Grid 

I downloaded them from google play, but you can find it in AppStore too! 

I use vsco for filters and PhotoGrid for colleges and to write text on pictures.

HOW TO EDIT WITH VSCO?

Well it's simple for me,because i have vsco maybe 1 year in my phone.

My favorite effects are A5 and A6.

Just pick what you need and edit your photos:)

With photo grid is easier because there aren't that much choices, but I like it anyways.

MIRROR

If you want to take pictures standing by mirror, there are rules that i created(well I invented them:D)

1. MAKE SURE YOUR ROOM IS CLEAN
2. FIND GOOD LIGHTING

That's about it. 

Don't take pictures like this:

Because you can see that the room is dirty.

Maybe the lighting is not the best, but the room isn't dirty :) 

sometimes I use B5 effect.

And yeah. For professional photos, you better use camera, not phone's camera. Well you can use your phone's camera but.. errrr.. you know. Photos wont be that professional.

HOW TO MAKE VELVET CAKE?

Today i will show you how to make velvet cake. Lots of people don't know how. Well here you go.

VELVET CAKE RECIPE

You will need lots of ingredients to make the cake. So here is what you need: 

• • Vegetable oil for the pans
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring (1 ounce)
  • 1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cream Cheese Frosting, recipe follows
  • Crushed pecans, for garnish

Cream Cheese Frosting:

• 1 pound cream cheese, softened
• 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
• 2 sticks unsalted butter (1 cup), softened
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil and flour three 9 by 1 1/2-inch round cake pans.

2 In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. In another large bowl, whisk together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla.

3 Using a standing mixer, mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined and a smooth batter is formed.

4 Divide the cake batter evenly among the prepared cake pans. Place the pans in the oven evenly spaced apart. Bake, rotating the pans halfway through the cooking, until the cake pulls away from the side of the pans, and a toothpick inserted in the center of the cakes comes out clean, about 30 minutes.

5 Remove the cakes from the oven and run a knife around the edges to loosen them from the sides of the pans. One at a time, invert the cakes onto a plate and then re-invert them onto a cooling rack, rounded-sides up. Let cool completely.

6 Frost the cake. Place 1 layer, rounded-side down, in the middle of a rotating cake stand. Using a palette knife or offset spatula spread some of the Cream Cheese Frosting over the top of the cake. (Spread enough frosting to make a 1/4 to 1/2-inch layer.) Carefully set another layer on top, rounded-side down, and repeat. Top with the remaining layer and cover the entire cake with the remaining frosting. Sprinkle the top with the pecans.

FOR CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

1 In a standing mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or with a hand-held electric mixer in a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and butter on low speed until incorporated. Increase the speed to high, and mix until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. (Occasionally turn the mixer off, and scrape the down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.)

2 Reduce the speed of the mixer to low. Add the vanilla, raise the speed to high and mix briefly until fluffy (scrape down the bowl occasionally). Store in the refrigerator until somewhat stiff, before using. May be stored in the refrigerator for 3 days.

MY FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

Today i decided that i should write about my February favourite stuffs associated with body.

Im not promoting any of these firms, but i would be happy if you sponsor me :D (jk)

First product: Neutrogena hand cream. I love, because i have dry hands and this cream really moistens my hands. I think Neutrogena products are the best (for me)

This cream is natural and i like it. And i would give 9/10 :) 

Second thing is: Natural consistency micellar water with organic pumpkin extract.

From greem feel cosmetics. It's made in Lithuania and i absolutely love this water.

It's good for sensitive skin. It's 100% natural. It takes off makeup perfectly amd cleans dirt out of face. Also moisturizes your face.

I would rate it 10/10

Next we have this body lotion. I use this every time when i get out of bath. It has odor of orchids and i absolutely love it.

Ingrediens:

• Vitamin E - repairs damage caused by free radicals and accelerates cell regeneration.
• Shea Butter - provides deep, 24 hour moisturizing and returns firmness to the skin.
• Argan Oil - maintains the skin's collagen levels, reducing wrinkle formation.

rate: 9/10

Next is macadamia professional oil for your hairs.

If you have troubles with brushing your hair, just spray this and your hair will look stunning. I really like this spray. It's natural. I bought it from shop in Lithuania called "CASCADA" i don't remember how much i paid but i like this really much.

rate: 10/10

The last but certainly not least is this lip balm from Isana firm. I bought it from shop in Lithuania called "DROGAS"

I like this lip balm. It moists your lips really good and protect lips from wind.

I will buy one more because mine is ending :D
